Free fixes. If you ask us for a free fix, we store the repository URL you gave us, your email address, which form on the page you used, and the date. We use them for one thing: to do the fix by hand and email you the result. Asking for a fix does not sign you up for the weekly digest, and we do not use the address for anything else.
To do the fix we make a local copy of the public repository and work on that copy. We never write to your repository.
We delete the request, including the repository URL and your email address, 30 days after we send you the result or tell you we will not do it. If we never get to a request, we delete it after 60 days. What is left is a count of how many requests we received, which holds no repository URL and no email address.
To have your request deleted sooner, reply to our email or write to feed@driftpatch.dev. We delete the row straight away.
The weekly digest. If you sign up for the digest, we store your email address, whether you confirmed it and when, and a record of which weekly digests we sent you. We use that address only to send the weekly digest.
Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted 72 hours after we send the confirmation link. Unsubscribing deletes your address and those records from our database immediately.
Our servers are in the EU. Our email provider delivers the digest and the fix result, so it also handles your address.
Our web server keeps request logs that contain IP addresses; they rotate automatically and we use them only to operate the site. We do not use tracking cookies.
